Reading the table
- CAS number is the Chemical Abstracts Service registry number for the compound, the identifier a certificate of analysis or a supplier catalogue should quote.
- Formula and molecular weight are for the free peptide. The powder in a vial also contains bound water and a counter-ion from purification, so the mass on the label is not the mass of peptide alone. See net peptide content.
- Sequence uses three-letter amino-acid codes. Modifications are written as they appear in the literature: Ac- for an N-terminal acetyl group, -NH2 for a C-terminal amide, D- for a D-amino acid, Aib for α-aminoisobutyric acid, Nle for norleucine. Long acylated peptides such as retatrutide and tirzepatide are listed by formula only.
- GHK-Cu is listed as the copper(II) complex, which is the form supplied.
